More details:
In-depth genealogy and family history research. This might include developing a research plan to answer key questions, building a family tree using web-based platforms such as Ancestry.com or FamilySearch, and/or compiling research results into a shareable report for you and family members. Research may focus on a particular location or period, or a single family name or provide information covering multiple family lines over decades. Research may include both online and physical archival collections, or facilitating family oral history interviews to gather additional stories.
We're also happy to consult on how best to collect, manage and preserve your personal family history archives including paper-based materials, multimedia, born-digital or digitized files and artifacts and memorabilia. Projects might include crafting an archives management plan, recommendations for preserving and storing materials, creating a web-based or multimedia experience from digitized materials, or making recommendations for donating collection content to a local history organization.
